While most of us are thinking about going on vacation , some teachers , educators ,principals and school districts employees may actually already think about the next academic school year . They may want to get things all set up and out of the way , so they can really enjoy their summer break .

One of the thing , they may start looking for are “back-to-school” postcards . Nothing like a personal little card to make those new students feel welcome . Here are a few of our designs . An always popular and on demand style is the “faux chalkboard”. Those are custom postcards , which means you can easily replace any text with YOUR own using the provided template . The 3 best Student Planners for schools

School district student plannersI am so happy and excited by this ! I worked really hard those past few months putting together designs to create a few planners for your students . I designed them for schools (or even school districts) , so each students can have the same planner and use the same tool to stay organized and write down when their projects are due , when they will be having quizzes and tests , etc. There is a place to personalize those planners with your school name or your school district logo .

(1) The first one that I would like to show you has a very basic faux chalkboard look on the front and a purple plaid design on the back side . Adding your district logo and school name is really easy . Simply use the template provided . Ideal for elementary , middle or high school .

(2) This one has a cute hedgehog on the front cover . It can be customized with the school year and your district logo . Sorry . You can’t add the school name on this one . However you can add the student name with a marker on the rectangle at the left hand corner . It makes it perfect for elementary school students .

The back cover is green with yellow stars of numerous sizes .

(3) Last but not least is a planner with some fun school related doodles . It says “Student Planner” . It can be personalized with the school year and with the school name . (No area for a school district logo on this one , even though  you could technically add it yourself .) It would be a good fit for elementary or middle school students .

Classroom personalized door signs

Classroom personalized door signsI find that personalized signs for teachers to hang on their classroom doors makes the room more inviting for young students and a little less scary . And of course it makes it so much easier to find ! I recently added a couple more of those sign besides the owl I already had available . They are made of ultra-durable grade-A acrylic . They are UV resistant (so the design won’t fade away easily ) and waterproof . The foam adhesive strips make them easy to hang on . They have a template that make them very simple to personalize with your name and room number . You can also write on them with dry erase markers if you prefer .

I will definitively keep adding some as soon as I have some extra time . I really enjoy  create the illustrations for them .

Teacher Personalized gifts

Teachers are working hard trying to educate our children . It is not an easy task . They start teaching because they love kids . They don’t get paid very well , their classes are getting more and more crowded , and they spend a lot of their own money to pay for classoom supplies as fundings gets lower and lower every year . The least we can do as parents , is show them that we care and that we are grateful for all that they do .

May 8 , 2018 is Teacher Appreciation Day . Here are some gifts idea that educators may appreciate . It may be too late for today , but they are still good suggestions for end of the year gifts , or Christmas gifts .

As I already mentioned , they spend a lot of their own money on supplies . So you definitely can’t go wrong with supplies ! The first choice for that would be to get something from their favorite store .  If not , then you can surprise them with some personalized supplies . Here are some examples :

(1) Classroom pencils : They are a great choice , because they always need some more ! Kids tend to loose theirs and need new ones . Pencils personalized with the teacher’s name and the classroom number are easy to spot at the end of the day and they can stay in the classroom , solving the disappearing pencil problem !

(2) Teacher’s Pens : Another great idea are personalized pens . Every teacher needs a pen to write notes or to correct students work. And well , they need to get their pen from somewhere . Here are a few that can be personalized with a name . They come in black , blue or red ink . Your choice !
(3) Notepads & Sticky notes: Here are two additional items that are very useful to teachers . Once again , make them special by persnolazing them .

 

These are just of few ideas . But I would say definitively think supplies . A gift card from their prefered shop would be the best . Also don’t forget to volunteer if you have the time to do so .

We are so really excited to announce that we are now carrying file folders . They are cute , colorful and make oragnizing simply more fun !

The first ones we would like to introduce are the ones that you can personalize with your last name , grade , and school name .

A few weeks ago , I share a door hanger I had designed for teachers to hang out outside their classroom when they are giving a test to their students . I find it to be helpful to warn passerby to be quiet . Here is another one . This one has an owl . It can easily be personalize with the template .

I have a gazillion ideas in my head , and it is sometimes difficult to focus on just one thing . However during the past few days , I’ve tried to work on a new  design including an apple and  a darker background that could simulate a chalkboard (either dark green or black) . I also decided to put my efforts into creating some office supplies for educators . And this is what I came up with so far : a keychain , a personalized notepad , a couple of return address labels , a pen and a desk nameplate . Take a look !

Teachers are always carrying so many things . I find that this type of wrist keychain is so handy , as it allows them easy access to their classroom keys .

Notepads are very convenient , too . They may need to take a quick note during the class session , so they will not forget something important . Or it can be use to send a message to the office or to the school librarian . This one says “A note from Mrs. Williams (name can be change with yours)” and inside the apple there is a space for the room number :
If you’re a tutor , you probably have some mail to send . Return address labels are a must ! Here are some standard ones and some wraparound ones . Both are very easy to personalize . Simply replace the text in the provided template with your own :
Pens…..there is always a need for a pen ! Those can be bought in bulk .
The desk nameplate may be more ornamental  than all the others …but I thought it was kind of cute .. :

Door Hangers for teachers

As a teacher you give your students tests on regular basis to see how well they are learning . One of the most annoying thing during a test is hearing other students or visitors being very loud when they are passing your classroom . This is the reason why I designed this door hanger for teachers to hang outside their classroom door . It is a way to warn other people to be quiet , so your students can concentrate on their test .

 

I am planning to create more of those whenever I’ll get a chance .

New Reward Stickers

Inspired by the winter games I designed a brand new reward sticker : a cute cow practicing her ski jumping skills . What a brave little cow ! It takes a lot of efforts to be able to jump like that without falling and without being scared . She practiced …and practiced…and practiced until she got it right ! And that is the message this new sticker is conveying to young students . If you practice hard enough and long enough , you’ll get it right !

Faux Black Board Teacher Door Sign

I hope you are all having a wonderful start of the year . I would like to start by wishing all of you a Happy New Year hoping it will bring everything you’re aiming for .

This being said , I would like to introduce you to a new door sign I created for teachers . It is the first and the only one I have right now , but I hope to be able to add some more soon .

 

Details on the sign itself :

*It measures 10.75″ x 8.38″.

*It is made of ultra-durable Grade-A acrylic , making it very sturdy .

*It is UV-resistant and waterproof ! (So it will be fine if you hang it outside your classroom door .)

Details on the design:

  • I love to draw owl . This one is very colorful and has beautiful eyes in the shapes of flowers .
  • Personalizing it is really simple and easy . Just fill out the template using your own name and room number . If you do not want to do that now , you can do it later . Indeed , since it is made of an acrylic material it acts as an erase board . So you can use an erase board pen to add your info . Clever , isn’t ?
  • I choose a black background to give the illusion of a black board .

It seems like some teachers like it . I am planning on adding more in a near future , so you will hopefully have more designs to choose from . I’ll keep you posted . In the meantime I wish you a wonderful first week of 2018 !
